TMS IP address and name change

Daniel Isham

I am migrating TMS to a new server and need to change the IP address and hostname of the server it resides on. The TMS server is NAT'd so that external endpoints can communicate to TMS.

In regards to the currently installed internal certificate, do I need to generate a new certificate due to the changes?

It depends what you use your certificate for.

If its for IIS and it carries the external hostname than it should be fine.

If you expect to work it from the inside without giving a warning or you refer to a

certificate you use for remote desktop than you might need a certificate which adds

the names you use.
