TMS Software Directory on Shared Drive

Is it possible to point the TMS software directory to a shared drive?  For example, if you have a cluster, pointing all the server peers to a single shared drive would be easier than managing the directories individually on each server.

I looked at TMS Tools, however it only gives you the option to choose a directory on the TMS server.  What about creating a virtual directory in IIS, or some other method?

I haven't tried it myself, but I'd have thought you could use a Symbolic Link to re-direct that folder elsewhere.  Check out the "mklink" command and How to Create Symbolic Links to Shared Folders.
