Hi All,
We have upgraded the TMS unit from 12.6 to 13.2, however, the service contract of the TMS is expired.
So, it is impossible to generate the release key for the software 13.2, so the upgrade process is continuous to as a trial version.
The serial number in the right hand bottom is disappeared after upgrade to trial version, as a result, it display as a trial version.
So, we want to know how can we know the serial number of TMS, so that we can re-new the service contract.
Also, is there any demo license or demo discount in Tandberg TMS.
Best Regards,
Ben

You can do lookup of the TMS serial number using the Product Licence Registration tool.
After login do:
You will be provdied with all details for the device your looking up, including release and options keys.

Sounded more that Ben lacked the serial number itself as its not shown anymore.
First I would look for old documentation or the original delivery info of the TMS,
they shall contain the TMS serial number, also if you filed a support case you might
have something on screenshots, emails, ...
The TMS serial number itself will most likely either start with 80A (software) or 80B (appliance)
and has 5 numerical digits after that (like 80Annnnn )
If you have made the suggested DB backup it should be stored there as well.
Also you might find it in some files in the TMS itself, like I found mine in:
C:\Program Files\TANDBERG\TMS\wwwTMS\Data\Logs\Install\Install_Log.txt
If all that fail check with your Cisco Partner or Cisco, renew the service contract and
then you can do so as Patrick already described to look up the release key and option keys.
