TMS upgrade

Hi,

Our client's TMS needs an upgrade, the upgrade path are as follows (From Cisco Engr.)

1. Upgrade to TMS 13.2

2. Migrate legacy TMS agent to TMSPE

3. Upgrade TMSPE to 1.1

4. Upgrade TMS to version 14.2

Questions:

1. Do we need a separate server for Cisco TMS and Cisco TMSPE and Microsoft SQL server?

2. What's the recommended hardware requirements for both server?

TMS and TMSPE and reside on the same server, SQL can be run on the same server or on a dedicated server.  Suggest you take a look at the TMS Install Guides and TMSPE Install Guides and see what the server and software requirements are for the versions of TMS and TMSPE you plan to eventually use.  Recent versions of TMS have added and of course removed support for some OS and SQL versions.  One thing to note, make sure you're running the supported version of Java for the version of TMSPE you're using, running anything other than what is in the documents will result in issues.

Suggest you eventually go to TMS 15.0 and TMSPE 1.4 as they are the most recent versions as of today.
