Turning Off Automatic Gain Control on Microphone Inpus

It is great that it is possible to turn off things like Echo Control, Dereverberation and Noise Reduction.  This is perfect when audio is being processed elsewhere, such as a DSP.  However one setting that cannot be turn off is Automatic Gain Control.  In a setting where the Echo Control or AEC is being done outside the Codec, most likely the AGC is also being processed there.  So by not being able to turn this setting off, really bad audio artifacts are now being heard on the far end.

Is there a way to turn it off, I went through the documentation and I couldn't find anything.

I have many systems here with external DSP (Biamp) doing the AEC and don't have any issues once disabling AEC on the codec.

Which model endpoint are you using?

Which software version are you running?

How / which port are you feeding the audio in to the codec?

Are you sure that you are processing the AEC correctly on your DSP?
