Unified video advantage problematic with OS Win7 prof 64 bit

Dear All,

Have installed all diligently and properly. The software with latest firmware (CDP) discovers the usb cams and IP phones (7965/7975) but the video does not start automatically (nor manually) when the phone connects in to a voice conversation (setting "video confirmation is off").

The related win7 64 bit Cisco bulettin newsletter is saying about unified video advantage: TBD to be declared.

As the swithching from 64 bit to 32 bit by reinstalling all the company desktops would be a dramatic solution. Respectively, I'm wondering if anyone can help with a straight solution to this issue?

Also while testing via IP comunicator the local video is acceptable while the remote video is definitely too poor to be considered as a valid video conferencing tool. The tab of video quality has obviously tailored to the best quality but the actual quality does not change, it remains poor. As is it an algorithm issue, does anyone know how this issue can be managed?

I would be very much pleased to hear in respect of the above.

Many thanks,

Mark

Mark,

Try the Cisco Cuva 2.2.1.0 or later software along with a Logitech pro 9000 or c910.

Do not install the Logitech Software.

Good luck
