Upgrading VCS to latest Version

Dear All,

We are planning to upgrade our VCS–C = X8.1 and  VCS –E = X8.1 to the latest version, VCS is running on physcial appliance, Kindly suggest recommondable upgrade version. I want to ensure upgrade without no cost.

As I've mentioned several times already, TANDBERG (aka Gen1 VCS appliance) supports up to X8.6.1 software and will be supported by TAC, even though you can install newer software versions beyond that, it will then be unsupported by TAC.

Just an FYI, we have brought cases to TAC with 52A's running software above x8.6.1 and having issues with normal features that were introduced long before x8 and we were told TAC will not support anything above x8.6.1 on the 52A's, period.

I know the EoL document and release notes state otherwise, but just speaking from our experiences.

Any bug will be there, In our case EXP-E is installed in Tandberg server and exp-c is installed in virtual applicance. If i upgrade EXP_E to 8.7.X and EXP-C 8.9.x will it create any issue?

The C/E pair should be running the same software version, the only exception is when performing a software upgrade where the versions will different for a brief time.
