Unable to obtain DHCP IP from CTS 500-32

Hi,

I have recently installed a CTS 500-32 into our lab and have managed log into the codec via the doc cam aux port.  I am currently trying to log into the codec in the same way but am unable to get a DHCP address from the codec, normally I get a 10.0.0.2 or 192.168.0.2 address.  I have also renewed my IP on my latop but still no luck.

Can you see the codec from the switch?

What is the status of the switch port it is connected to?

Have you tried a different cable?

What is the result when you query the codec for a service status with "utils service list"?
