SX80 Third party microphones near end

I was wondering it the SX80 would allow the microphone signal to be heard on the near end as well as the far end.

I have a client with and existing wireless microphone system and they are wanting to add the SX80 for video conferencing, but maintain the ability to use the space for local presentations as well.

I did not see anything in the administration guide about setting up the microphones this way.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can create an audio route from the microphones to the speakers, depending on the software version of the SX80, you'll use either TC Console or CE Console.  They're the same program, just the latter doesn't have video compositing functions.  However this shouldn't be done, as it will cause the audio to become distorted and unclear during video conferences.  You should instead have all the microphones go to an audio DSP, and from there to the SX80 for video conference and also to the local speakers for speech reinforcement.

Here is a similar thread where someone already tried what you're asking: sx80-audio-tcconsole-and-audio-configuration.
