はじめに
NCS 5700 シリーズルータおよび NCS57 ラインカードは breakout 設定をサポートしますが、
Controller optics x/x/x/x breakout 4x10 を設定した場合、以下のメッセージが出力され commit に失敗します。
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:NCS5500(config)#controller optics 0/0/0/0
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:NCS5500(config-Optics)#breakout 4x10
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:NCS5500(config-Optics)#exit
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:NCS5500(config)#exit

NCS 5700 シリーズルータおよび NCS57 ラインカード にて breakout を設定する場合、hw-module port-range コマンドを使用する必要があります。

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:ios(config)# hw-module port-range 0 1 location 0/0/CPU0 mode 4x10
※ NCS5700 シリーズルータおよび NCS57 ラインカードで port に breakout を設定する場合、隣接するポートのリソースを使う必要があります。
そのため上記の例のコマンドを実施した場合、port 0 が breakout として設定され、Port 1 が disable となります。
