The YDK vagrant sandbox now has version 0.5.5 available. These are the detailed package versions:
vagrant@ydk-py:~$ pip list | grep ydk
ydk 0.5.5
ydk-models-cisco-ios-xe 16.5.1
ydk-models-cisco-ios-xr 6.2.1
ydk-models-ietf 0.1.2
ydk-models-openconfig 0.1.2
vagrant@ydk-py:~$
If you're new to Vagrant, all you need to know is that it allows you to very easily create and destroy a virtual machine on your computer. In our case, the YDK sandbox gives you a Linux (Ubuntu) virtual machine with YDK pre-installed. The machine shares two directories with your host computer allowing you to run the hundreds of YDK sample apps and experiment with your own new apps. Just clone the ydk-py-samples repo and follow the instructions in the README file.
What about support for the latest YDK version 0.6.0? Stay tuned. It's coming up pretty soon!
