No way to do a partial rollback via API?

I've looked and looked, but it appears that the GUI has the capability to perform a partial rollback of a service request, however, I can't seem to find anything to do that via API.  Am I missing something or is the API call mislabeled?

with api it is an all or nothing deal

/app/api/rest?formatType=json&opName=userAPIRollbackWorkflow&opData={param0:1000}

the interaction is limited to show all the roll back options and then say I want 1,3 and 7 to be rolled back..
