Personal experience:

I used this custom task extensively in my workflows since 5.1. I just upgraded my dev environment from 5.4.0.2 to 5.5.0.0 and I was getting the following error when using this custom task:

{Workflow Step Name}  (custom_Execute Powershell with Rollback) failed with error - java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.Exception: Unable to fetch remote agent details, selectedContext=<None>

It took me forever to figure out that the 5.5 Execute Powershell standard task is basically this custom task. Once I copied my settings and script from the custom task into a new standard task everything worked.
