3rd party XMPP clients

Has anybody had any luck getting 3rd party XMPP clients to work with CUPS 8.x? If so please provide details.

I've tried MomentIM with CUPS.  I believe other XMPP clients shoud work.

It's like registering a 3rd-party SIP phone to CUCM.  It should work.  But the configuraiton on client side might be client specific.
