I have a customer who is currently running on version 3.0 of Active voice Kinesis voicemail. I would like to migrate them over to Cisco unity connection and looking for a way to migrate around 2000 mailboxes.
Any ideas welcome.

Your best bet is to plan on a complete rebuild. There are no tools to migrate from the old of a version. Im not sure
if there is a way, but if you could run an inplace upgrade from 3.0 to Unity 4.x, then you may have a chance to use COBRAS.
Some of the items in the table you can probably go a grab, such as First Name, Last Name, Primary Extension. You can then build a CSV file to import into CUC.
But being that old, its going to be tough, not a lot of support for it.

There's no migration tools to move you from competative products (even our old company - Active Voice) - aside from the legal/ethical issues involved with leveraging our inside knowledge of what their DB may be based on (it's changed considerably since we split 10 years ago), there's a practical support/maintenance issue involved.
The best you can do is get a CSV dump from their system and use BAT or CUBI like tools for creating users in Connecgtion or Unity - exporting greetings, vocie names, messages etc... is not going to be something we can support.
