Howdy,
My client currently has Unity 4.0(2) within their AD. Now they want us to deploy Unity 4.0(4) in a different location, but within the same AD. With that said, would I have to extend the Scheme again since they already have 4.0(2) in their AD?
Thanks in advance.

You will have to extend the schema. Don't worry - it's backwards compatible.

Hi again.. I did some research on this, and what Cisco has documented is that you only have to extend the Scheme for 4.0(4) if you want to use the Cisco Unity Bridge feature due to it has changed since Unity 4.0(2). In turn, if I've already extended the Scheme with 4.0(2), and I am not using the Unity Bridge feature, then I wouldn't have to extend the Scheme.
Does this make sense?
Thanks again.
