Building Exchange off server for new unity install

I have two unity servers and an exchange one. I loaded windows 2000 and the SP4. I am wondering if I jump to the Forest Prep, or if I need to put anything on with the SQL and the preparation asst, or do I just skip to the Forest Prep and the domain prep. Thanks.

If forestprep and domainprep has been run once, you don't need to do it again (unless you are upgrading exchange).

The purpose of forestprep is to extend the AD schema so that exchange properties are added.

So on a brand new windows 2000 server,

1) dcpromo to make it a Domain Controller

2) forestprep to extend the schema

3) domainprep to prep the domain
