Unity version?
Bulk Reset version?
right off hand it sounds like the CDL libraries aren't installed on the box for some reason...

Unity Version 4.0.3. The Bulk Reset tool is the latest on the site (1.0.4)

As near as I can tell the CDO libraries are not installed on the server for some reason - which is a bit odd since they should always be on there - tools lke MSM use them to get at the mailstore as well. I'm a bit tied down with some short term deliverables or I'd cut you a debug version to test with but you might try going out to Microsoft and making sure you have the latest CDO (Collaborative Data Objects) libraries installed so the tool can get at the mailbox using them.

Installed on our Unity server or the Exchange server?

The Unity server - it's the set of libraries used to access the mailstore (on or off box).
