Change Default Standard Greeting

Two offices share one call manager and unity.

Office A IP phones are registered 22XXXX.

Office B IP phones are registered 33XXXX.

When office A IP phone not answer the incoming call,

the call will be forwarded to unity. And then the caller hear default standard greeting "Extension 22XXXX ...."

I would like the caller hear the last four digits only XXXX instead of 22XXXX.

For office B, I also want the caller hear XXXX instead of 33XXXX.

Since there will be more than 100 subscribers, I prefer to use default standard greeting instead of manually set personal greeting.

Is there any method can help in this case ?

Thanks in advance

Are the XXXX extensions unique? Or do they overlap?

If they're unique you can set them up as the primary extension for users and use the 22XXXX and 33XXXX as alternate extensions - the system greeting uses the primary extension when voicing it out.

I suspect, however, that they do overlap or you wouldn't be using the 22/33 prefix there in the first place...

The system greeting is not customizable. It uses the voice name of the user if that's recorded and if it's not, it'll fall back on the extension. So if you don't want to record custom greetings the only other option there is to record voice names for users (or have them do it - the first time enrollment conversation will walk them through this if you're using it - but it'll also have them record a greeting).
