Cisco C210 M2 and RAID 10

I just purchased a c210 and in the data sheet it says it supports RAID 10 but when I go to configure the LSI MegaRaid controller it only gives me the option for 0,5,6. I have 4 drives in the server. Is there something special I need to activate to configure Raid 10 on this server? Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance!

I assume you created only 1 group with the 4 HDDs?

If so, what you need to do is to create 2 groups, each one with 2 HDDs.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/3rd-party/lsi/mrsas/userguide/LSI_MR_SAS_SW_UG.pdf

Chapter 4, page 49 is where we started with the config with the C210 we got in our lab. If you have time to spare the previous info is some nice reading.

4.4.3.6 Using Manual Configuration: RAID 10, page 76

You use the Drive Group Definition screen to select drives to create drive groups.

1. Hold while selecting two ready drives in the Drives panel on the left.

5. Hold while selecting two more ready drives in the Drives panel to create a

second RAID 1 drive group with two drives.

We just followed the doc and got everything configured.
