Hello,
I have an environment that comprises of multiple UCS clusters running local disk storage. Over the past year I have experienced issues with High CPU where by we replaced the MegaRAID controller for around 8 of my 15 UCS servers (all servers are the same, C260-BASE-2646). This was raised with Cisco TAC and it was recommended that we upgrade the ESX version as well as a host of other firmwares across the server environment.
My question is this, does anyone else running a local disk environment see disk (ms) spikes when looking at performance data within the v-sphere client? I see spikes up to 45(ms) for some servers and want to know if this is normal. See attached for example
Please let me know
Regards
David
