Cisco Unity and Sip Trunk and IVR

I have a setup where users call into our Cisco Call Manager and the call is forwarded to a SIP trunk to a separate IVR. We have this IVR so patients call to enter a script number to fill a prescription. Now I am trying to have calls go to Cisco Unity to set up a prerecording that talks about Covid 19 then forward back to the SIP trunk, but the calls will not forward back.  I created a workaround that basically forwards it to a new external line which then forwards it to the Sip Trunk but once I do this I lose the caller id. 

 

Is there any way to allow Unity to forward to this SIP trunk.

Create a call handler to receive the call and play your message, ch1

Create another call handler with the transfer settings to the DN for the IVR, ch2

On ch1 configure the after greeting action to attempt transfer to ch2

I'm assuming the CSS from the integration and the restriction tables allow the call out to the IVR DN, if not, adjust as necessary.
