Cisco Unity Express Licensing issue

Hi ,

I am going to upgrade CUE from version 3.1.1 to version 8.0.

I have new licenses for this upgrade.

Do we need to migrate the existing licenses to version 8.0 , if yes then what is the procedure to do so?

Also please tell me upgrade procedure of CUE from 3.1.1 to 8.0.

Is it a direct upgrade ?

Please revert asap.

Hi Ankita,

There is no upgrade procedure for the licenses the old one is overwritten and trhe new ones are applied.  Going from 3.1 to 8.x will be a clean install so BE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD BACKUP before you start.  I would suggest several backup sets.
