We are getting the error message below regarding the user's message store is unavailable, but when we check the exchange server everything is working fine, any ideas?
Mailbox logon failed for user cn=LAN ID,cn=Recipients,ou=COMPANY SITE,o=Company. This can occur if the user's message store is unavailable. When the message store becomes available, resync the user from the SA by refreshing the MWI status on the user's Messages page.

What version of Unity are you working with here? This is important in this case since the notfier has undergone some major changes over versions.
This can mean that Unity's connection to the mailbox is broken, not necessarily that the mailbox itself is having problems (MAPI is a joy to work with, I assure you).
Did you try to refresh the MWI status?
If you're running a recent version of Unity (4.0(3) or later) you can also try bouncing the notifier service itself which will force it to log into everyone's mailbox again...

We are using 4.0(3)SR1, I tried to refresh the MWI Status and I got the same error for a particular user/Lan ID from the application event log, please advise.
Mailbox logon failed for user %1. This can occur if the user's message store is unavailable. When the message store becomes available, resync the user from the SA by refreshing the MWI status on the user's Messages page.

What is the version of Unity and Exchange?
If not Unity 4.0(4), then it's probably due to CSCed81742 ExchangeMonitor - MWIs fail for all users due to HrGetServerDN failr
To know for sure, enable ExchangeMonitor micro traces and look for
Message API call failed. Call = HrGetServerDN Error = Unspecified error at 1567 in H:\views\ESB1_view\un_Core1
\ExchangeMonitor\AvExchangeMonitorSvr\cavmapiaccessthread.cpp.
