CUCM security password reset

Hi team,

I need to reset the security password in CUCM. We have 2 nodes in a clusters, PUB and SUB. We are trying to deployee IM&P server now, at the time of installation its asking security password , I tried with couple of password but it is not working. Now the only way is we need to reset the password.

I already studied in internet about the process. But I am confusing with below steps

If you have a CD or DVD in the disk drive, remove it now.

Step 4 Press any key to continue.

The system tests to ensure that you have removed the CD or DVD from the disk drive.

Step 5 Insert a valid CD or DVD into the disk drive.

How we can remove and insert CD , if any screenshots regarding this kindly let us know. 

After rest security password on both PUB and SUB it is mandatory to restart the server.

Kindly help me on this issue,

What is the CUCM version you are running.

Are you using MCS or UCS server.

Current CUCM version 11.5 and  we have UCSC-c220-M3S

Hi,

As you are running UCS you can map your computers CD drive.

Hi Siddhu,

As you are using UCS server, you need to mount the CUCM ISO file and unmount it  in VSphere client instead of inserting CD/DVD and removing it as shown below:
