If using direct option, you will see usage in your software.cisco.com page
If using a satellite, after it has been properly registered and it has synced, you can create the tokens there, and see the license usage once you register a product in your satellite.
If you have problems with direct registration, then that means you need to make sure the necessary ports are open, or use a proxy.
For the satellite, if you cannot register, or it cannot sync, that would mean there's a problem with the communication.
