Hi there
Can you check the Device Status Under Virtual Machine Properties and make sure its Connected and Connected at power on.
Hope this helps!

If you downloaded that from cisco.com, that IS NOT A BOOTABLE image.
If you want to install CUCM 12.0, you need to get bootable media via PUT.

Oh Yes! Overlooked.
I bet you downloaded from here
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286313357/type/286319236/release/12.0%25281%2529SU1
Yes, as Java pointed you need to order from Product Upgrade Tool (PUT) with your active contract. Or you can ask your Cisco AM/SE to get an Install CD for you
Hope this helps!

No, we asked a cisco engineer to provide the application with an evaluation license. so he downloaded and put in the cisco box then he asked us for our ID. so I logged in I had 3 days to download the file. I downloaded and when I wanted to install I had the error mentioned above

But can you confirm with Cisco is the provided one is an Install file. Doubt that!
Hope this helps!

Bootable media would be named: Bootable_UCSInstall_UCOS_12.0.1.21900-7.sgn.iso and the size of the file on Windows explorer would show 3,699,560 KB
I have the same file you mentioned, and that came from cisco.com, and is used only for upgrades.
Also, if you want to use 12.0 you need to have your Smart Licensing in place.
Again, you need to use PUT, or reach out to your SE / AM and make sure you ask for bootable media.

How to get a bootable media to install CUCM12 please? I have to do a lab

If you have a valid contract, you can download from the Product Upgrade Tool. If not, then you have to reach out to your Cisco SE/AM
Hope this helps!
