We have cup 7.x and cupc 7.x - we cannot see any status/availabilty updates when we change, i.e if we go off hook and use the phone then our status still shows as available (shows no update's within our own cupc client nor others).

Set "CallManager" trace to "detailed" and enable "SIP Call Processing" trace option. See if CUCM sent PUBLISH SIP on offhook events.
