I have a customer that is using Unity 4.0(5)and they are getting a delay when dialing a users mailbox. Example I might dial ext 1429 and unity will answer and then there is an 8 seconds delay before unity will play the greeting. This doesn't happen on every call maybe 2 out of 10 calls this will happen. Anybody ever had this kind of problem before?

What version TSPs are you using? What kind of integration is it also? (PIMG, Dialogic, TSP to CCM?)

Their TSP version is 8.0(1b). It is intergated with Call Manager 4.13

I would upgrade your TSPs to version 8.1.3 first. Reboot Unity and try it again.
If Unity has any processes pegged for some reason, it could be having problems pulling the wav file from the SQL database of the subsbribers greeting. (CPU pegged, disk i/o high, etc)
But if the TSPs are flaking out, this be an issue.
Also, check the NIC cards on the server. 100F Full Duplex and they are set to Fault Tolerrent, not load balanced. If the load balanced, you may get odd audio issues.
hope this helps
