hi
we have unified messaging on unity 5.1 w/ exchange 2003.
the AD/Exchange is controlled by another department.
When trying to delete some subscribers from unity getting an error window stating:
"delete failed 0x80072030 (there is no such object on the server. \0xD\x0A)"
the user is still in Unity
believe this is due to user having already been deleted from AD/Exchange.- is that correct?
if so, what is proper procedure to delete the subscriber?
thanks
Rob

Use the Remove Subscriber Properties Tool on Unity to get rid of the Unity side attributes out of SQL then. You can locate the tool here...
x:\commserver\utilities\removesubscriberproperties
Where x is the drive the Commserver Directory is on.
Thanks!

Yep, run run Remove Subscriber Properties as Tray said. This tool is nicknamed "Bunny Killer" so when you launch it, you will get a Windows Explorer-ish view of Active Directory OU's. Navigate to the OU where the user object is located and if it has a bunny icon next to it then it still has a location object associated to it in AD.
