FailoverConfig failed

I cannot configure the failover between my new unity server.

I prepared the server with the CUSPA for unity 4.0(3) and I insall unity 3.1(5).

When I launch the FailoverConfig program, it always stop at the SQL replication with the following error (see the attachement).

You need to make sure that on the Unity server you are runing SQL Server and NOT MSDE. The primari Unity server should be pushing and the failover Unity must be pulling.

I'm running MSDE on my primary. Is it possible to upgrade to SQL server, and if so what is the impact / procedure?

The unity servers must match exactly. Same Unity versions, same patches, same SQL, same SQL patches, everything from head to toe.

Or you will battle failover forever
