Hi,
We are now testing Unity 4.2 with PABX switch (Dialogic card). We wanted to shorten the times of getting Username/Password without entering "#" during sign-in. It is because the users don't have habit to enter "#".
We tried to change First Digit Timeout & Interdigit Timeout in Configuration > Setting Page. It only changed subscriber Phone Menu but no effect in Sign-In Process. Anywhere I can do it?

No - Unity is designed to handle variable length extensions. Folks will either have to learn to hit # or wait for the timeout when signing in by ID.

Those values only affect subscribers and a caller is not considered a subscriber until after they authenticate - there is no system wide setting that will affect the subscriber sign in conversation. Outside callers going through audio text applications (i.e. call handlers) use the inter digit timeout which can be defined on each handler (Defaults to 1500 ms).
Short story is the subscriber sign in conversation and a few other system conversation (system transfer for instance) are not adjustable for digit timings.

Thanks for your reply.
Is there any setting that limit the extension and password length (For example, 4)? Such that Unity don't wait once it got enough digits.
Regards,
Rayon
