Input error

CUCM (MOH) is connected into 2 switches N5K (cisco Nexus5010)

*Switch (1) N5K interface is Ethernet102/1/16

*Switch (2) N5K interface is Ethernet103/1/40

Problem:

Ethernet103/1/40 having input error increasing, and other interface Ethernet103/1/40 is not connected.

Request:

How can I resolved  & troubleshoot input error issue on interface Ethernet103/1/40, and what is the affects?

Hi,

 

It’s basically a Layer 1 issue, wherein the probable cause for Input Errors on Interface could be Faulty Port or Cabling.

Try changing the Cable and check for any Hardware issue on switch Port.
