Instant messaging between CUPC and MOC

Hi all,

I'm reading a lot about integration between CUP and OCS but it is all about allowing MOC to control the Cisco IP phone; is there any doc about configuring CUP and OCS to allow messaging between their native clients? Of course, if something like this is possible at all.

This is called "inter-domain federation", which is supported by CUPS 7.0 and above.

But I myself have never seen a customer used that.
