Hi, I am treading into new territory on this and I have a couple questions. I am doing a rollout of CCM 3.3(4) with Unity 4.0(3). As part of the install I am going to have to do an integration with an Avaya S8300 Media gateway for one of our offices. I need to be able to connect this via a Qsig trunk so that I have internal dialing between the systems and so that Unity can light the MWI on the Avaya phone. I found a reference saying Unity does not support MWI interrogation service but Im not sure what that is. Does that mean Unity can not light an MWI via Qsig?
Is this scenario possible and if so, how? I have never attempted an integration like this before and I am having some troule finding info or config references.

No way possible..
CallManager doesn't support Q.SIG enough to do this feature. Leaving Unity no way possible to do this either..
The only other way is to do a dual integration on the Unity, but then you would need a local AVAYA PBX with analog and digital circuit packs..

CCM 4.x does support the Q.SIG supplementary service for MWI. This would be transparent to Unity so you might try the IP Telephony forum for more details.
Another way to do this is with Unity 4.0(4) using a dual integration where Unity connects to the Q.SIG system through a SIP-2-QSIG gateway. You can find more information on that here...
