Good Day Everyone. We have IPICS installed an running via an LMR and analog Kenwood radio repeaters. We are now in the process of changing over to the digital repeaters. What I cant seem to figure out is connecting the digital repeaters to the system so that it send and recieves multicats data to and from IPICS. Now with the LMR voice-ports a dial-session is created and then sent to a multicast address and port. Now we need to connect the new IP repeater to the network via a 3560, the problem I'm having is that even if I configure the switch for multicasting (basic setup), I can see the muticast groups from IPICS. When I PTT the repeater I can see on the LMR that the repeater has joined but I dont recieve anything on IPICS and vice versa.
Am I setting up the multicasting wrong or should I be looking at something else?
The connected port is setup as a access port to vlan 100
vlan 100 has ip pim-sparse-dense mode enabled
IP multicast-routing distributed is configures as well.
Any info or pointers would be appreciated.
