Using Pager, I entered 919175551212. When I click save, I get "phone number does not fit the dialig rules for your dialing permission"
If I enter 19175551212 without the 9, unity accepts the number.
Anyone has the answer to this

Check the restriction tables assigned to your class of service - I'm betting the dilaout restriction table has a rule that says any number that starts with 9* is not allowed.

Strange, butin the restriction I allow string to yes for 9???????????* and it still doesn't work. That is 919175551212
Thanks

The most common mistake I see here is folks fiddling with the restriction table of the COS of the subscriber they are trying to change - Unity enforces the RT of the COS of the user making the change (i.e. the admin person doing the updating via the web). Make sure you're not getting bit by that... also make sure you don't have another rule that's triggering on it first. The rules are evaluated top down and the first match dictates the action it'll take.
