Hi Team,

Trust everybody doing Great.

We configured Jabber Client on Iphone and its working fine within Corporate WIFI Network.

As per the requirment we need to access the IPhone Jabber Client , when User is in 3G Network.

I seen some document stating , you need to connect VPN Connection with Corporate network, before Jabber Connecting.

We have Fortinate Firewall in Place. Is it possible to configure VPN on Fortinate Firewall and is it support by Jabber?

Or is there any other solution to implement the same.

Appreciate your Quick Response.

Hi,

Taken from hte Jabber Release Notes:

"In order for Cisco Jabber to launch VPN  automatically when needed, the iPhone must be set up for  certificate-based IPsec authentication for VPN on-demand access. The  iPhone must be able to access the corporate network, servers, and  telephony endpoints using VPN, such as AnyConnect."

The Fortinate firewall has not been tested with Jabber. You can try and see if it works, however, Cisco does not provide support and does not guarantee voice quality when using 3G/4G mobile data networks.
