I am planning a Unity Connection 9 deployment. For my deployment I need to be able to configure two types of Unity Connection users.
Types
1) Unity Connection Users will be synced from AD and will be setup in a unified messaging configuration with Exchange 2010
2) Unity Connection Users will be created locally on the Unity Connection servers and will be accessed via TUI and an IMAP connection from a lotus notes client.
Is this configuration technicall possible and is there a recommended or best practice method of setting up this configuration?
Thanks

Sure, UCXN supports LDAP and local users as long as the alias and extensions are unique. This is now also supported in CUCM as of version 9.0.
