PCD migration failed with critical error, CSCvf78742 suspected

Hello,

We tried to migrate our CUCM 11.5 SU3 to SU4 using PCD 12.1(1) and it failed with a critical error.

It worked well for a while and migrated few nodes, but then it dropped the message on CUCM CLI that the node cannot be found on the published during the connectivity test. I clicked OK and it proceeded for a while, but then it failed at the DB installation stage with a critical error.

I suspect we are facing the CSCvf78742, but the conditions are not matching the ones in the description. The PUB is .50 and the failed SUB was .51 in the same subnet. Has somebody faced this issue?

If you haven't, I suggest you open a TAC to have this investigated, as you mention, you don't meet the conditions but it does sounds very similar.

PCD *should* not have any problem performing a migration on 11.5 as long as you're upgrading at the same time.
