Phone Soft Key Question

I haven't gotten my hands on a UC500 system yet, so I can't answer this question by trying it.

Is there a way to assign multple features to the same soft key?  You would "page" over to change feature assignments.  This way you can get around a physical soft key limitation.

I'm trying to spec out a phone for a system and my concern is being able to monitor extension status (BLF) but monitor more extensions than the number of physical soft keys.

Not without an expansion module, there is no way to monitor other extensions.  For example, if you have a 7945, you have line1 and the second line can be a BLF of another.  There is no "page" over key for this.   But if you have 796x, you can add on the expansion module and monitor more lines.
