play/record error Cisco Unity Connection Administration

I am having an issue trying to upload greeting for call handlers.   We are on Cisco Unity Connection version 10.5.1.10000-7.  My java version is version 8 updated 333 (just updated).  When I click on play/record I receive a initmmapplet: initmmappletinstance failed to get instance error.

I have added all sites to the java control panel, Our certificate is not secure

I have downloaded and installed audiotext per cicso instructions and I get an Unhandled exception error when I try to record.

I have downloaded and recorded a greeting via audacity but can not find a way to upload the greeting and not use either of the above.    I am at a loss of how to work around these errors.

Update:  I finally found an old computer that had not been updated and was able to use the play/record function without the imitmmapplet error.   Very fustrating.

That is one of the reasons why this changed in current releases, 11.5SU5 or 6, can't recall exactly which, introduced the usage of HTML5 for the media player instead of java which in many cases would only work with specific java releases and newer releases would not work, the same happened with CIMC and KVM before they also switched to HTML5.

If you wish to move away from the java dependency, you would need to upgrade to 12.5 or 14 right now.
