Hi,
Is there a way to play the saved voice messages wav files on PC desktop from a Cobras Backup taken from Unity Connection 7?

I dont believe so. The file may have the wav files somewhere deep in the file, but you will not know which is whos. your best bet is to use IMAP to export the voicemail file you are looking for

Yes, for non secure messages you can use the COBRAS Backup Editor which you can find (along with its help file) on the COBRAS home page:

if the messages are marked secure it wont let you export them - you can only restore them to a Connection server.
For Connection these are exported as EML files which have embedded WAV file(s) in them - you can open them in most email readers including Thunderbird or Outlook Express or the like.
If you're just looking at getting at messages for users and getting local copies of them from Connection you can certainly use IMAP but an easier option is the Message Archiver tool which is designed for just this purpose:
