Question about Jabber deployment at 02 site

Hello,

Our scenraio is:
- Site A:
+CUCM, IMP v11.5 Unrestricted, Expressway C&E v8.9
+CUCM, IMP, Expressway C&E using the same DNS domain name sitea.com
- Site B:
+CUCM, IMP v11.5 Unrestricted, Expressway C&E v8.9
+CUCM, IMP, Expressway C&E using the same DNS domain name siteb.com
+ Site A & B have the same DNS database via WAN connection
Currently, I want to setup inter-cluster between IMP at both site A & B; but it require same DNS domain name
So I plan to change DNS domain name for CUCM, IMP and default presence domain on both site A & B to internal domain internal.local.
Is this solution possible with MRA? I would have to use account login with userid@sitea.com or userid@internal.local? Because I tested in lab enviroment, I just only could login in internal domain with userid@sitea.com, not external domain via MRA

You will be able to login with the JID only, whatever that is configured to be, or what you set as voice services domain. It's one or the other, not both for MRA.

Thanks for your answer,

I have misunderstood about presence domain and DNS domain of IMP. So I changed presence domain on both site to the same presence domain and do an inter-cluster between them. It’s worked as expected.
