Recovering Unity Server without DIRT

Is there any way of recovering a unity server with just a SQL backup and System state backup. I have a backup of the system state and MSSQL databases using Arcserve . The DIRT utilty looks like it stopped backing up without warning at the beggining of the year so the data is useless.

no, with just SQL data you don't have what you need.

What do you mean DiRT just "stopped"? If there were errors in the backup that gets written through to the event log always. If you took the task out of the Windows scheduler then there's no much DiRt can do to warn you of that fact. DiRT is not, however, just going to fail on a scheduled backup without warning via the event log.
