Unity uses exchange server to store the messages. You would connect your outlook client to the exchange server to retrieve the messages. Since you are asking this question, it seems to me that you are not using unified messaging and if so, there are licensing ramifications if you intend to check your vm using outlook.
If you need to retrieve the wav file, you can use OWA to save the message.

You right i don´t use unified messaging, i just want to use outlook client to connect me to unity and retrieve the messages.
When i configure the exchange account and put the unity ip addr, and then the alias name, and select check name it shows me an error

Using outlook to get at your voice mail messages IS unified messaging - if you don't have UM licenses for it, that breaks your agreement.
This doesn't have anything to do with Unity, but we're not going to assist you in breaking your license agreement out here regardless.

So, if the customer has Voice-messaging (not unified), and they want to be able to save their voicemails as WAV files, using Outlook breaks the licensing. And, I'm assuming that Outlook Web Access is the same?
With voice-messaging only, they are requesting a method to save their voicemails as WAV files. What options are available to do this?
Thanks,
Kevin

No one is going to fault you if you needed to save a few messages but if you intend to save every single message, then that is called unified messaging.
