In the Configuration section in the SA on the settings page you'll see 3 values that all default to 7 days for how long data files, diag files and report files hang around - you can adjust them all if you like.
reports are pulled from the data files - diag files are only used by TAC if there's a problem - the report files are the finished output of the report runs.
