Hi,
We have an SMB client who wants to terminate two SIP trunks from an ITSP into their exitsing IP PBX system. I want to know what Cisco product will be required to achive this. We have other customers with same scenario but they are using ISRs (e.g: 1921, 1941, 2901) to achive this funcationality. Buying an ISR for SMB is not very cost effective. I see Cisco Small Business Voice Gateways (SPA2102, SPA8000) are not going to achieve this functionality. Can anyone suggest me a better cost effective solution?
Regards,
Muhammad

There are CUBE licenses for the 880 and 1861 ISR routers.
Note that CUBE on these routers has a reduced feature set, as compared to the other models you've used.

Thanks Jim, C881-CUBE-K9 could be a better choice for me if it provides 2 WAN interfaces. Can I terminate SIP trunks on integrated 4-port switch? I guess it wont work, not sure .

Have you considered the Cisco UC320? It will let you connect up to 12 SIP trunks and up to 24 phones.
I currently have mine connected to a SIP trunk from www.vocalcloud.com. They are an ITSP and as long as you have sufficient and reliable bandwidth to allow for about 85k per concurrent call path it should work flawlessly! The list price for these units are only $995. Usually your cost as a partner is around $700.

I just checked we can terminate WAN link on switch ports by creating SVIs in C881-CUBE-K9. Using Cisco UC320 also a better and cheaper idea. Thanks Robert for your help.

There is also UC500 for under 100 users, which is bundled and ready for SIP trunk interconnect, for you to consider.
