SMS message through call manager

Is there a way for a user to send a text to a person's DID and have it display on the ip phone or have it forwarded to a cell phone? So ideally a person can text a DID and then have it display on the ip phone, jabber client and cell phone? Is there a service or app that does that?

There's no such thing out of the box, there used to be a phone messenger, so it's technically possible, but you would need to custom build this. About sending it to Jabber and a mobile, I'm not sure if an XML service could interface with IMP or send this to a mobile.
