Have a few reports in unity 7 that when an end user goes to the website to update speed dials they are not updating on the phone. The phone button templates they are using are set up for speed dials but it seems the 2 are out of sync..any ideas?

check to ensure you have replication between the Publisher and Subscriber. Start up RTMT and go to CallManager Tab, Database Summary. You should see Pub "2" Sub "2" Total "4" If you see other numbers, it's messed up.

Odd thing, all of the users that were having this issue were updating the speed dials on their extension mobility profiles not their regular phones..it lists the mac address which is the actual phone and the extension which is their ext mobility profile

if the user device profil is based on a 7942 (for example) and you are login in a 7962 phone. You will lose your speed dial.
You need to make sure that users are login into the right phone type.
In the past, it was possible to log into a 7962 whithout lossing your speed dial when your udp was based on a 7942 template.
Unfortunately, not anymore !!!!

Good tip! Was this in 4.x you could log into any device type and now in 6x, 7x you can not?
